§ 48. Mr. J. Hallasked the Minister of Labour particulars of the draft conventions and recommendations adopted by the International Labour Conference prior to April, 1936, regarding which no statement as to the action proposed by His Majesty's Government has yet been published.
§ The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour (Mr. Butler)There has not yet been any public statement of the position of His Majesty's Government in regard to the Convention concerning the reduction of hours in glass-bottle works (1935) or the recommendation concerning unemployment among young persons (1935). The issue of White Papers in these cases is under consideration.
