19. Sir Robert Young

asked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware that Mr. G. B. Wright, late of the Royal Lancashire Regiment, No. 50,229, residing at 30, The Park, Penketh, Lancashire, is in receipt of a life pension of 30 per cent. in respect of gastritis; that he has recently undergone two operations for duodenal ulcer; that the Ministry's doctor visited him but did not examine him; and will he explain why this ex-service man is refused free medical treatment for this trouble, for which his pension was granted?
