HC Deb 15 July 1937 vol 326 cc1658-60

Considered in Committee.

[Captain BOURNE in the Chair.]

CLAUSE I.—(Continuation of certain annual duties.)

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Clause stand part of the Bill."

12.6 a.m.

Mr. Kelly

I do not wish to raise points of detail, but it is wrong and unfair to the wonderful people of that great island that such an important Bill as this should be taken at this late hour of the night.

Question put, and agreed to.

Remaining Clauses ordered to stand part of the Bill.

Bill reported, without Amendment; read the Third time, and passed.

The remaining Orders were read, and postponed.

It being after Half-past Eleven of the Clock upon Thursday evening, Mr. DEPUTY-SPEAKER adjourned the House, without Question put, pursuant to the Standing Order.

Adjourned at Eight Minutes after Twelve o'Clock.
