§ 71. Mr. Bennasked the President of the Board of Trade at what date the agreement of 14th October, 1933, relative to the abolition of all forms of discrimination against British vessels, became effective in Portugal and in the Portuguese colonies.
Mr. StanleyThe provisions of the Exchange of Notes of 14th October, 1933, relating to flag discrimination in Portuguese ports came into force on 1st July, 1934, in Portugal and the adjacent islands, and on 1st July, 1936, in the Portuguese colonies.
