§ Lieut.-Colonel MuirheadStopping places that have been mentioned in this connection are, I understand, the Keeling Islands, Diego Garcia and Seychelles, but no reconnaissance has been made with a view to establishing the practicability of using those islands for such a purpose, nor has any Government approval been given for the project.
