asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the estimated saving that will accrue through the changed type of Parliamentary Debates that came into operation on Tuesday, 19th January; and why the change has been made?

No saving will be effected by the change in the type of the Parliamentary Debates. The opportunity afforded by the necessity to purchase hew matrices was taken to provide a more legible type face with a view to the relief of eye-strain.
