asked the Attorney-General whether the Government have reached any decision on the subject of official shorthand writing in the Royal Courts of Justice; and whether it is proposed to publish the report of the Honourable Mr. Justice Atkinson's Committee on this subject?

I can only refer the hon. Member to the reply given by me to the hon. Member for Lowestoft (Mr. Loftus) on 2nd December, 1936, and to add that it is hoped to make a statement upon the matter at an early date.
