asked the Minister of Labour the number of unemployed persons that have received training for the catering trade; and the number that have been placed in situations?

The numbers who completed training courses for the catering trades under schemes administered or assisted by the Department in the past eight years were as follow:

Men 1,124
Women and Girls 634
Boys 188
All those who completed training were placed in employment with the exception of a few who became unavailable owing to marriage, sickness of other reasons.
