§ Mr. ShakespeareI regret that I have not the precise information for which the hon. Member asks. I am however circulating in the OFFICIAL REPORT a statement showing the number of boys and girls who, on attaining the age of exemption from compulsory school attendance, left the public elementary schools in England and Wales for reasons other than further education during the years ending 31st March, 1935, and the 31st March, 1936.
