§ 33. Mr. Dayasked the Home Secretary the number of accidents, fatal and otherwise, in which the mobile police have been involved during the previous three years; and whether any members of this force have been prosecuted for offences under the Motor Car Acts?
§ Sir J. SimonVehicles driven by Metropolitan police on patrolling duties of all kinds were involved in 1,087 accidents (including one fatal accident) in 1934, 1,100 (including three fatal) in 1935 and 1,035 (including three fatal) in 1936.
