asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air how many Army officers are seconded to the Royal Air Force on 1st February, 1937, as compared to 1st February, 1935?

The numbers of Army officers seconded to the Royal Air Force for flying duties in Army co-operation squadrons, including those under flying instruction, on 1st February, 1935, and 1st February, 1937, were 16 and 42 respectively. In addition, seven Army officers were attached for staff and instructional duties on 1st February, 1935, and 10 on 1st February, 1937.
