§ Mr. Hore-Belisha"A" licences last for two years and not for one year, as suggested in the question. A Bill now before the House will, if it becomes law, enable me to extend the period of validity of these licences.

§ Mr. Hore-BelishaThe constitution of the Transport Advisory Council is determined by the Road and Rail Traffic Act, 1933, and before appointing the present members, representative organisations were consulted in the manner the statute prescribes.
§ Mr. PriceWill the right hon. Gentleman consider the question of re-appointment in order to give these people adequate representation?
