§ Mr. Ormsby-GoreThe construction of the Zambesi Bridge has been financed solely from loans raised by the Government of Nyasaland, which are guaranteed by the Imperial Government under the authority of the East Africa and Palestine Guaranteed Loans Act, 1926.
§ Mr. Ormsby-GoreI am not sure whether the hon. Member is referring to the amount of the whole loan or only the amount in respect of the Zambesi Bridge. I think the Zambesi Bridge cost approximately £2,000,000.
