HC Deb 11 February 1937 vol 320 c582
61. Mr. Groves

asked the Minister of Health whether applicants for the various pensions under the widows' and old age contributory schemes and the other old age pensions are expected to affix a three-halfpenny stamp to their official application forms; and, if so, will he state how many applicants have done so?

Sir K. Wood

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, and the second part does not therefore arise.

Mr. Groves

While thanking the right hon. Gentleman for the statement, may I ask whether he is not aware that the reply he has given is in complete contradiction to the reply given by the Postmaster-General last week, and will he, therefore, consult his right hon. Friend and put things right between them?

Sir K. Wood

As far as my right hon. Friend and myself are concerned, things are all right.
