asked the Prime Minister whether he has considered the letter from the secretary of Leigh Labour Club informing him of a resolution carried at a meeting of the members asking him to reconsider the position of the five discharged dockyard workers; and will he say whether he will accede to the request?

I have received a copy of the communication referred to by the hon. Member, but I have nothing to add to what I have already said on this subject.

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the defence which he put up on 26th January is the worst which he has ever made from that Box?
