§ 42. Mr. Lovat-Fraserasked the Home Secretary why his office has ceased to issue reports of the children's branch?
§ Mr. LloydThere are a number of reasons—in particular the additional labour involved in the preparation and bringing into force of the Children and Young Persons Act, 1933—which have prevented the issue of a report in recent years. My right hon. Friend is fully aware of the value of these reports, and a further report will be issued as soon as circumstances permit.
§ Mr. Rhys DaviesWhat does the Under-Secretary mean by "as soon as circumstances permit"?
