HC Deb 20 December 1937 vol 330 c1600
43. Mr. James Griffiths

asked the Minister of Health what progress has been made in the consultations he has had with the Carmarthenshire County Council and the Llanelly Borough Council in regard to the provision of a maternity hospital for the eastern portion of the county?

Mr. Bernays

I understand that a meeting between representatives of the two authorities has been held, and my right hon. Friend is hoping to hear shortly from the county council the result of their consideration of the suggestions made.
