asked the Home Secretary how many persons have been committed for trial on the charge of manslaughter arising out of motoring offences during the year ended 30th November, 1937; how many of these have been acquitted; how many have been fined; and how many have been imprisoned?

Figures relating to these offences are collected and tabulated only for the calendar year. Those for 1937 will be included in the Annual Return of Offences relating to Motor Vehicles which will be presented to Parliament as soon as possible after the end of the year.
