asked the Minister of Health whetther he pro poses to take steps to improve the co ordination of health services with a view to securing the more satisfactory co operation between general practitioners and medical officers of health, and between the institutional, domiciliary, consultant, and specialist services?

As I have stated in reply to a previous question, every opportunity is taken by my Department to emphasise the need for co-operation between the various branches of the medical profession, and I am glad to say there is an increasing recognition of this need on the part of local authorities.
