I beg to move, in page 1, line 16, after "1937," to insert: or who is in receipt of an ex-service man's disablement pension. I move this Amendment in order to be assured that the position of the ex-service men is completely safeguarded.

I am glad my hon. and gallant Friend has raised this question so that I can deal with it, because I know that everybody wishes to safeguard the interests of the ex-service men. The position is this—[HON. MEMBERS: "Agreed."] This Amendment has been moved in order to get an assurance, and I thought I had the right to explain what the position was.
