§ Sir V. WarrenderThe first three cavalry regiments of the line in order of precedence are the 1st King's Dragoon Guards, The Queen's Bays and the 3rd 2081 Carabiniers. The 1st King's Dragoon Guards are being mechanised on their arrival from India this month. The Queen's Bays are already mechanised. The 3rd Carabiniers are in India and will be mechanised in accordance with the Indian mechanisation programme.
§ Mr. TurtonIs my hon. Friend aware that the statement made by the Minister for War on 2nd November about the status of these cavalry regiments has given rise to a good deal of misapprehension?
