HC Deb 29 April 1937 vol 323 c509
67. Mr. Anstruther-Gray

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether it is proposed to hold any parades of ex-service men in connection with the Royal visit to Scotland in July?

Mr. Wedderburn

The detailed arrangements for the Coronation visit to Scotland by the King and Queen are at present under consideration and I regret that I am not in a position to add to the announcements already made. I understand, however, that it is hoped that ex-service men will take part in the ceremonies which will mark Their Majesties arrival in Edinburgh on 5th July.

Mr. Gallacher

Will the Minister consider arranging a parade of the unemployed?
