HC Deb 26 April 1937 vol 323 c27
50. Mr. Hannah

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he can now make any further statement about the preservation of the building of Tailor's Hall, in Edinburgh?

The Under-Secretary of State for Scotland (Mr. Wedderburn)

I am informed that the corporation have at present under consideration a suggestion for the construction of an arcade which would enable the carriageway to be widened and the buildings to be preserved.
