asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any statement to make respecting a possible improvement in the relations between Germany and the Soviet Union?

Am I to understand that the right hon. Gentleman has no evidence of any kind of any rapprochement between these two countries, and has his attention been drawn to some newspaper paragraphs to the effect that a rapprochement is proceeding between these two Powers?

Will the right hon. Gentleman make a statement on an early opportunity?
