HC Deb 29 October 1936 vol 316 c14
25. Mr. LUNN

asked the Secretary of-State for Dominion Affairs whether he has any statement to make on the subject of our relations with the Irish Free State?

The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. Malcolm MacDonald)

No, Sir. I am not in a position to add anything to previous statements on the subject.

Mr. LUNN

Are any steps being taken to establish relations either on the other side, in the Irish Free State or by our own Government?

Mr. MacDONALD

I am afraid I cannot add to the answer which I have already given.

Mr. MACQUISTEN

Are we not buying all their horses and greyhounds and is not that enough?
