HC Deb 30 November 1936 vol 318 c844
64. Sir NICHOLAS GRATTAN-DOYLE

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what local authorities in the counties of Northumberland and Durham have appointed air-raid precautions co-ordinating officers?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd)

I am informed that the Northumberland County Council has decided to appoint an officer to promote coordination in the preparation of schemes of air raid precautions in the county. I am not aware that any further appointment of this nature has been made in these two counties.
