Captain HUDSONWhere the speed limit is not in force in a built-up area every street lamp is marked with an appropriate sign. The absence of such a sign is a clear indication that the speed limit is in force.
§ Mr. SIMMONDSIs the hon. and gallant Gentleman aware that, although that may be the general instruction, it is not in fact carried out throughout the country, and can he see that it is generally observed by local authorities?
