asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the number of cadets entered for the executive and engineering branches of the Navy through Dartmouth College and the public schools and the number of Royal Marine officers entered in each year during the years 1931 to 1936; and the number of promotions to commissioned rank from the lower deck in these branches under the sub-lieutenant and similar schemes in each year during the same period?
