HC Deb 24 November 1936 vol 318 c211
39. Mr. BOULTON

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the amount of Denmark's purchases of British goods, apart from the re-export trade to that country, completely fulfils her obligations under the trade agreement with this country; and, if not, will he make representations to the Danish Government with a view to their issuing additional licences for the importation of cutlery which Danish importers urgently require?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The matter referred to in the second part is shortly to be discussed with the Danish authorities.
