§ Mr. BUTLERHis Excellency the Viceroy paid a visit of courtesy to the Maharaja of Kashmir in October. The Foreign Secretary to the Government of India visited Gilgit this month to discuss administrative questions. There have been no disturbances on the border between India and Chinese Turkestan, and no arms are being exported from India to north-eastern China.
