§ Mr. SHAKESPEAREThe number of schools now in Category A of the Board's list of public elementary schools with defective premises is 166. No additions have been made to the list during the last two years. As regards the last part of the question, the attention of local education authorities has recently been called to the need for action in this matter, and my right hon. Friend is anxious to see all the outstanding cases dealt with as soon as possible.
