HC Deb 19 November 1936 vol 317 cc1901-2
33. Mr. LOVAT-FRASER

asked the Home Secretary whether he proposes to carry out any of the recommendations of the advisory committee appointed under the Children and Young Persons Act, 1933?

Mr. LLOYD

The object of my right hon. Friend in setting up this committee was to encourage consultation and cooperation between the Home Office and local authorities in regard to the administration of the Act, and action is being taken now on some of the matters discussed at the first meeting.
