HC Deb 18 November 1936 vol 317 cc1778-9
33. Mr. RATHBONE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air the cause of the delay in providing wireless facilities at Roborough aerodrome, Plymouth; and whether he will expedite the provision of these facilities, in view of their urgent necessity?

Sir P. SASSOON

I am advised that the area and the lay-out of buildings at the Roborough aerodrome are not yet finally settled, and for this reason it is not practicable to proceed with the installation of a radio station at present; the provision of a station will, however, be considered as soon as suitable accommodation is available.
