HC Deb 17 November 1936 vol 317 c1508
66. Mr. HANNAH

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he can make any statement about the preservation of Taylors' Hall, one of the chief historic monuments of Edinburgh?

Mr. WEDDERBURN

Edinburgh Corporation have asked the concurrence of the Department of Health in a proposal to demolish the buildings referred to for street widening purposes. All aspects of the matter are at present being considered, and I am not yet in a position to make any statement.
