HC Deb 16 November 1936 vol 317 cc1307-8
6. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether arrangements will be made to terminate on our part the Treaty with Iraq so that that country may be returned to Turkey?

Mr. EDEN

No, Sir.

Colonel WEDGWOOD

Mr. EDEN

I could not accept that statement. All my evidence to date is to the contrary.
