HC Deb 12 November 1936 vol 317 c1050
78. Mr. CROWDER

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the existing frozen credits in Germany, he will give an assurance that he will not sanction German attempts to float a loan in this country?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

So far as I am aware, no issue of a German loan in this country is under discussion, and, in view of the current market iquotations for German loans, I do not think that any such question is likely to arise at present.
