75. Mr. McKIEasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he can now make a statement as to the date when the report of the Reorganisation Commission in connection with the milk marketing scheme will be issued?
§ The SECRETARY of STATE for SCOTLAND (Mr. Elliot)The report of the Milk Reorganisation Commission for Great Britain has just been presented to my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and myself. In accordance with normal practice, the report will be published, but I cannot at present give an indication as to the probable date of publication.
Mr. McKIEIn view of the fact that reorganisation might be held up owing to the non-publication of this report, which was promised in October, will my right hon. Friend use his influence to see that no further loss of time occurs?
