HC Deb 11 November 1936 vol 317 c843
4. Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the policy expressed in the joint communiqué issued in Moscow on 31st March, 1935, on the occasion of his visit, that friendly co-operation between Great Britain and Russia in the general work for the collective organisation of peace and security was of primary importance for the furtherance of international efforts to this end, still remains the policy of the Government?

Mr. EDEN

Yes, Sir; this represents our policy with all nations.

Lieut.-Colonel MOORE

Will my right hon. Friend state whether this security which is mentioned in the question also applies to the lives and property of British and foreign subjects in Russia?
