HC Deb 05 November 1936 vol 317 cc231-2
33. Mr. THORNE

asked the Minister of Health whether he is now in a position to state whether the Government intend to settle the financial adjustments in connection with the valuation of railway hereditaments and the various local authorities?

Sir K. WOOD

No, Sir. Any financial adjustments arising out of the valuation of railways—on which, I am glad to say, the parties have reached agreement—will be a matter for settlement between the companies and the local authorities affected.
