HC Deb 05 November 1936 vol 317 c215
8. Mr. GRAHAM WHITE

asked the Minister of Labour what steps the Unemployment Assistance Board takes to ensure that the needs of applicants for allowances are met in cases in which their means are assessed as nil or at a small amount, and the other members of the household do not make the contribution to the household income at which they are assessed?

Mr. E. BROWN

I would refer my hon. Friend to the replies given to him on 2nd and 20th July last, to which I have nothing to add.
