asked the Minister of Labour the number of children, and their ages, who have been sent from the distressed areas to obtain work in the borough of West Ham, and what work they have obtained?

During the past 12 months, two girls aged 16 years, and one girl aged 17 years have been transferred from the distressed areas to residential domestic employment in the Queen Mary Hospital. No boys have been transferred to West Ham during the period.
