HC Deb 27 May 1936 vol 312 c2009
48. Mr. CHORLTON

asked the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defence whether he will give the names of the members of the supply committee; and whether their responsibility for the granting of priority of some supply for the requirements of one service over another extends to the allocation of orders to districts?

The MINISTER for the CO-ORDINATION of DEFENCE (Sir Thomas Inskip)

It is not the practice to give the names of members of committees of the Committee of Imperial Defence. The answer to the second part of the question is that the question of the allocation of orders to districts might in some cases arise, in the exercise of the function of awarding priority.
