asked the Home Secretary what action he is taking to ensure that adequate supplies of bleaching powder would be available for decontamination purposes in the event of a widespread attack upon the civil population by means of mustard gas and lewisite?

Estimates of possible requirements are being prepared, and the Government hope shortly to examine with the manufacturers of the commodity how best the necessary stocks can be accumulated and maintained.
