HC Deb 20 May 1936 vol 312 c1179
26. Mr. V. ADAMS

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has any statement to make about his forthcoming conversations with representatives of the Arab community in Palestine?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. J. H. Thomas)

I would invite my hon. Friend's attention to the reply which I gave on Monday, 18th May, to the question by the hon. Member for Ince (Mr. G. Macdonald).

Mr. ADAMS

I am not quite clear from these replies, and, therefore, can the right hon. Gentleman say whether they meant that there is not, in fact, to be an Arab delegation to London?

Mr. THOMAS

Yes, Sir, I made that perfectly clear in that answer.
