HC Deb 19 May 1936 vol 312 cc1004-5
57. LEWIS

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air the names of the present members of the interdepartmental committee on international communications, stating in each case which department they represent?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for AIR (Sir Philip Sassoon)

In the case of inter-departmental committees it is not usual to publish the names of the civil servants chosen to serve in the ordinary course of their duties, and I trust I shall sufficiently meet my hon. Friend's desire for information by stating that the committee consists of high officials of the Treasury, Air Ministry, Admiralty, Colonial Office, Dominions Office, Foreign Office, India Office, General Post Office and Board of Trade.
