asked the President of the Board of Education whether he will endeavour to arrange that the orders for pottery for distribution by schools to commemorate the Coronation are given out as early as possible so that the employment may be spread over as large a number of workpeople as possible?

I have no information at present as to the intentions of local education authorities in this matter, but I will certainly bear the hon. Member's suggestion in mind.
