§ Mr. RUNCIMANSufficient time has hardly elapsed since the coming into force of the agreement in question to enable any definite conclusions to be drawn from the figures available. I may say, however, that during the first quarter of 1936 the value of motor cars and parts imported into Canada from the United Kingdom was greater than in the corresponding period of the previous year, whereas such imports from the United States declined in value.
