The number of children who left the public elementary schools in Doncaster county borough and the urban districts of Bentley-with-Arksey and of Adwick-le-Street for employment in the year 1st April, 1934, to 31st March, 1935, was 1,333, and in the year 1st April, 1933, to 31st March, 1936, 1,720. I regret that figures for the calendar year 1935 are not available.
