HC Deb 13 May 1936 vol 312 c367
24. Mr. MATHERS

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether any decision has yet been made with regard to bringing Rosyth Dockyard and Port Edgar into active use; whether he will state when this will be done; and will he give particulars?

Lord STANLEY

I regret that at the moment I am not able to add anything to the information which I have already given to the House, but I hope that a decision will be made very shortly.

Mr. MATHERS

May I ask the Parliamentary Secretary when he will be able to give a definite answer, and whether he knows how keenly a definite decision on this matter is anticipated in the area?

Lord STANLEY

If the hon. Member will put down a question next week, I hope that I shall be able to give him a full answer.
