HC Deb 04 May 1936 vol 311 c1327
1. Lieut.-Colonel SANDEMAN ALLEN

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been called to proposed legislation in Germany whereby the estate of a British wife of a German subject is to be sequestered to the German Government; and whether he will cause inquiry to be made as to whether this is to apply to all nationalities equally without discrimination against women of this country only?

Mr. EDEN

I have no information on this subject, but if my hon. and gallant Friend will communicate to me the details of any particular case which he may have in mind, I shall be happy to look into them.
